Welcome!

Sit right down with me for a good Cuppa Light! A Cuppa Light is Java for your whole being! Most of us begin our day with some morning rituals including grabbing a cuppa something to get our physical bodies going. I wanted inspiration for my spirit and mind as well. I found that if I sincerely needed uplifting moments, they would come.
They came in dreams, something I’d observe, emails people sent, or things they would say. I’d read a book, and there was a quotation or passage that lifted or helped me know the right thing to do. I learned how to recognize, and work with the different parts of myself, and how to help others do it as well. I created this website as an inspirational place, A Cuppa Light for your whole being. If you're in a hurry just read the blog below or click on "A Little Cuppa". Maybe one will be just right for you!  Invite your friends to come recharge with a good cuppa light.
Add your flavor to the Cuppa via the guestbook below. Share something that inspires you, and write about it in the guestbook. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Enjoy!

Beloved Answers my Prayer

On Kaua’i, I am the current president of the Interfaith Round Table. If you’ve perused my website, you’ll know that I believe that there is One Beloved Creator who created all of humanity as Its beloved child. I believe my spiritual inclusiveness helps me in this position with people from the many faiths expressed here. This is our mission statement: ”The Interfaith Roundtable of Kauai exists as a forum to share information and concerns, to promote respect and understanding, and to build harmony in our shared community of Kauai.”

We had our monthly meeting and there was some “warm” discussion on how we wanted express the above, or if we even wanted to keep the same mission statement. I left feeling weary, and questioning my own relationship with the group. Usually I sit still and ask for guidance, but due to both my team teacher and assistant teacher being ill, I had to scramble a bit to keep the classroom in order, and the paperwork up. I was weary and afraid I’d fall asleep meditating, so I decided to catch up on emails that I hadn’t had time to read for 2 days.

A fellow Fellowship Mininster, Francis Sporer of Virginia Beach sent me a website to a You Tube video of Barbara Streisand singing “One God”.  I listened to it, and cried. The music, the words, the pictures….. Treat  yourself and go there. The words are from the Baha’I faith. Use gender filters if you feel it is necessary, but open your heart wide. Perhaps this is an answer for some of you too.

One God

Millions of stars placed in the skys by One God.

Millions of us lift up our eyes to One God,

So many children calling to him by many a different name,

One father Loving each the same.

Many the ways all of us pray to one god.

Many the path winding their way to One god,

Brothers and sisters there are no strangers

After his work is done.

For your God and my God are one.

So many children calling out loud by many a different name.

One father loving each the same.

Many the ways all of us pray to one God.

Many the paths winding their way to One God.

Brothers and sisters there were no strangers

After the world was done.

Our God, yes your God, and My God

ARE ONE!!!!!
