Welcome!

Sit right down with me for a good Cuppa Light! A Cuppa Light is Java for your whole being! Most of us begin our day with some morning rituals including grabbing a cuppa something to get our physical bodies going. I wanted inspiration for my spirit and mind as well. I found that if I sincerely needed uplifting moments, they would come.
They came in dreams, something I’d observe, emails people sent, or things they would say. I’d read a book, and there was a quotation or passage that lifted or helped me know the right thing to do. I learned how to recognize, and work with the different parts of myself, and how to help others do it as well. I created this website as an inspirational place, A Cuppa Light for your whole being. If you're in a hurry just read the blog below or click on "A Little Cuppa". Maybe one will be just right for you!  Invite your friends to come recharge with a good cuppa light.
Add your flavor to the Cuppa via the guestbook below. Share something that inspires you, and write about it in the guestbook. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Enjoy!

From the Palms to the Lilies

In the Christian religion, this is Holy week, and in my mind Easter is a day to remember one of the holiest occurrences in history. A person who repeatedly stated that he had the same abilities as everyone else was able to completely forgive those who mocked, tortured and killed him. He had the vision to remember that he was perfect love, a holy spirit, and free from any form. In three days he reclaimed his broken form, healed it and continued to use it to serve his Beloved Creator, teaching about forgiveness with a credential that was unparalleled. And I grouse when I feel misunderstood!!! Then I remember who I am because of the wonderful teachers who have lighted my way, and the miracles of love I have received.

It’s worth repeating that Jesus was able to forgive because he never forgot not only who he was, but who we were.  He was awake, but we were asleep. We were dreaming that we lived in a world where we were separated, so therefore there could be comparisons, and to prove that my thoughts were better, I grouped with people who shared my thoughts. But others who disagreed also grouped together. When we couldn’t agree, we fought. We judged, we mocked, we tortured and sometimes killed others, for what?

In “A Course in Miracles” text under “Holy Week” it states, “A week is short, and yet this holy week is the symbol of the whole journey the Son of God has undertaken. He started with the sign of victory [the palms], the promise of the resurrection, already given him. Let him not wander into the temptation of crucifixion, and delay him there. Help him to go in peace beyond it, with the light of his own innocence lighting his way to his redemption and release. Hold him not back with thorns and nails when his redemption is so near. But let the whiteness of your shining gift of Lilies [remembering his True Self] speed him on his way to resurrection.”

Let the miracles come! Thirty-two years ago on the Sat. before Easter I was driving my car from New Market, VA to VA Beach, VA. and I entered an alternate reality. I sensed a webwork of maybe etheric bonds between me and all the other drivers on the road, my sleeping son in the back seat, and everyone else! I felt connected to a loving Presence I call Beloved Creator. I was just in peace. I’ve been told that at Eastertime the veil is thinner between the Spirit world, and this 3D world. Find some time to pray, giving thanks that we were made as perfect love, and will always remain so. Ask to remember it. It will change your life.
