Welcome!
Sit right down with
me for a good Cuppa Light! A Cuppa Light is Java for your whole being! Most of us begin our day with some morning rituals
including grabbing a cuppa something to get our physical bodies going. I wanted inspiration for my spirit and mind as well.
I found that if I sincerely needed uplifting moments, they would come. They came in dreams, something I’d observe, emails people sent, or things
they would say. I’d read a book, and there was a quotation or passage that lifted or helped me know the right thing
to do. I learned how to recognize, and work with the different parts of myself, and how to help others do it as well. I created
this website as an inspirational place, A Cuppa Light for your whole being. If you're in a hurry just read the blog below
or click on "A Little Cuppa". Maybe one will be just right for you! Invite your friends to come recharge with
a good cuppa light. Add your flavor
to the Cuppa via the guestbook below. Share something that inspires you, and write about it in the guestbook. I'm looking
forward to hearing from you. Enjoy!
Annaleah

A Veteran's Miracle Story
Aloha,
Wes is a member of our Sunday Circle who served in Korea. One day he and a fellow soldier had kitchen duty. They were
peeling potatoes, when his buddy sliced his forearm to the bone. The medics were called, but his buddy said, "I'll
take care of it.", and left the kitchen. He returned about 45 minutes later to complete his shift. No cut, no blood,
no scar, no comment, but all the men felt as though they'd witnessed a miracle, and their lives were affected.
A dream I'm living to help create is that everyone in the
human race feels that our Creator loves them, and wants them to be happy. I've discovered that some people feel this way,
but many feel that God is not available or that Creator loves them only when they are good. God created the Holy Spirit to
keep us in contact no matter how far WE get lost. We need each other's miracle stories, and I'll put them here.
I saw the "Ten Commandments" when I was nine, and I
never doubted God's power to perform miracles. I saw "Little Buddha" in my 30's and realized that our Beloved
Creator loves all Its kids everywhere. Thanks Wes, for reminding us. Have a miraculous day! Annaleah

The Vortex
Aloha! Some of you want to know the story about the little pink vortex that takes you to the home page. At
Spirit Haven we used to have ceremonies, and gatherings to celebrate the changing of seasons. For the autumnal equinox we'd
have a bonfire in the fire circle, and decide what "seeds" of the year we wanted to harvest and keep growing, which
we wanted to cull, and what new "fruits" we'd like to plant. When we were in the meditating and envisioning
stage of the evening, I envisioned what looked like a little whirlwind with colorful flowers in it behind our apartments.
I wasn't sure what it meant, and asked Beloved for clarity.
Life responded during a dowsing workshop led by
Joey Korn the following weekend. I told him about it, and he wanted to check it out. It turned out that 3 sets of ley lines
intersected in one spot. A vortex is created when 2 or more ley lines intersect. We built a circular Permaculture style
garden around it, and I found out that the flowers I'd envisioned were called cosmos, so planted them around the circumference.
One day after Joshua took a picture of the garden this picture was revealed. Oh there is so much more to
this world than we can see. Happy Thanksgiving, and may the gratitude last you a lifetime!

The effects of what we do are not just personal.
It is exciting for me to imagine that we are entering
a time when people are beginning to understand that we don't live in a vacuum. What we do and even think affects
others. Go ahead and try to raise your
left arm straight out from your body without affecting any other part. It's impossible. All the muscles and nerves in
that arm are linked to your shoulder, back, abdomen, brain and that doesn't even count the blood and balance factors which
affect your whole body. Your community is your body, and you are the arm. The effects of what you do are not always visible
in this physical world, but even science has determined that there are different dimensions. Sadly, we had a teenage boy commit suicide on Kaua'i. The whole island grieved.
Then his girlfriend committed suicide, and people got very upset. About a week later another girl committed suicide, and then
5 organizations got together and held an open meeting for the whole island to discuss what to do for despondent teens. You
do know that if someone talks about suicide you take it seriously, and find out what is going on with that person, and help
them sort it out, or take them to someone who will, right? If a teen tells you not to tell anyone, but you sense there is
a deep problem here. LOVE enough to risk that they might be angry for a while if you break that trust, but that when they
are emotionally balanced again, they will truly thank you. Could you live with yourself if you didn't get help for them
and they did commit suicide? So take
care of yourself. You belong to us.

November 17, 2008 Check out "Alcohol Math"
Aloha! If you click the "For Teens" page, and go to "Alcohol Math", you can learn a lot about
how long alcohol generally stays in your system if you weigh about 150 pounds. This is true for people of all ages. Most folks
will really start to feel intoxicated after about 2 1/2 drinks, or when their blood alcohol reaches .05%. It's also important
to wait for at least 20 minutes for the effects to fully happen. If you have something specific you want me to talk
about, let me know. You matter, and you just might be the one who will be able to reach another who needs the wisdom here. Peace
to all, Annaleah
