Welcome!
Sit right down with
me for a good Cuppa Light! A Cuppa Light is Java for your whole being! Most of us begin our day with some morning rituals
including grabbing a cuppa something to get our physical bodies going. I wanted inspiration for my spirit and mind as well.
I found that if I sincerely needed uplifting moments, they would come. They came in dreams, something I’d observe, emails people sent, or things
they would say. I’d read a book, and there was a quotation or passage that lifted or helped me know the right thing
to do. I learned how to recognize, and work with the different parts of myself, and how to help others do it as well. I created
this website as an inspirational place, A Cuppa Light for your whole being. If you're in a hurry just read the blog below
or click on "A Little Cuppa". Maybe one will be just right for you! Invite your friends to come recharge with
a good cuppa light. Add your flavor
to the Cuppa via the guestbook below. Share something that inspires you, and write about it in the guestbook. I'm looking
forward to hearing from you. Enjoy!

A Prayer for Marjorie
My mother is scheduled to have a partial or full
glossectomy (surgical removal of her tongue) in an attempt to keep her passageways open. She's 87 1/2, and has faced this
cancer aggressively. She is just not ready to stop living. Her family loves her so much! I emailed her the prayer that I've
been using, essentially. She replied back, "It's a lovely prayer." I thought I'd share it with you. Perhaps
it will come in handy at some point in time. Beloved Creator
who illuminates All,
Behold your beautiful daughter, Marjorie. I know
you see her as your adored child, a radiant expression of your love. Help her also remember that part of herself. Please infuse your Love into her being so that she may become filled with the
peace and joy that it brings. Please help her open to receive it. She has been in a body for so long, that it has become the memory of who she is, but You know
that she is perfect Love. Perfect
love feels no pain, and has no needs. Melt away her fears. Reveal Yourself in some form that she may recognize,
whether it be in dreams, or vision, or from a living
soul.
Help her remember to ask for help from the Holy
Spirit, the angels and her living and departed family and friends who surround her. May your Perfect love numb the pain that she is feeling, and may she accept
Your will for her knowing that Your will comes from Your plan for the highest good for her. We do not have Your vision, and cannot see the greatness You
have planned for us all. Please bring healing to her being, and give her peace. Bless our family as well. And so it will be. Amen

My Recurring New Year's Resolution
Well loves, I 'm back from the east coast. The family
got together in Cape Cod, which was delightfully dusted in snow, and more snow, and then we were in the blizzard. It was all
beautiful to me, because I live in Hawaii, and don't get to see it, and my sister's house was all warm and toasty.
An added bonus was a gas lit "wood stove". The weather was cleared up in time for our flights home, and now I'm
back on Kaua'i, and in the teaching groove again. I
wanted to share with you something inspirational for the New Year. I've had the same resolution for about 3 years now,
and can't see that it will change much. I really want to BE LOVE. I remember this first came to me as a young woman in
my 20's, and my childhood friend thought it was impossible. But I don't. In fact, I think that we really all are Love
in Reality. Love and life are
keeping me on my toes. Mom is having another difficult surgery on Jan. 13th to remove the cancer on her tongue. I had a wonderful
conversation with her about our True Selves, and she's at peace about transitioning, but just wants to keep on being
able to breathe! When thinking about what to say, I received Tom Carpenter's New Year's message from Brother,
his name for Jesus, and it was what I was thinking, only edited. I have permission to share it. Blessed be! A New Year's Guidance I have asked our Brother to give
us a message to begin the year. This is what he has said, and I want to share it with you.
Love and blessings, Tom "This is the time when you review your life and
decide if you will make different choices for your future. Pause for a moment and reflect on whether this process has
ever fulfilled the expectations you have had for it. I ask you to consider there is but a single choice you must make
if you would bring happiness and peace to your life experience. Indeed, just this one choice can you make if peace and
happiness is what you truly want. Resolve to be the Voice for God. All other choices expect too little
and so must leave you unfulfilled. Resolve that it will be His Eyes you use to see, His Heart to decide the worth of
everything. His ears will determine what you hear; His Voice will speak the words that all will know to be the truth. Resolve that by your presence everyone will know that they are loved. Let no one escape the healing joy
of your forgiveness! Let nothing of his story distract you from your goal. It is time now for sin and guilt, lack
and suffering and every other denial of your wholeness to be put aside. There is no reason for you not to love!
I ask this of you because to ask less would be meaningless to the Holy Child of God. Resolve that
your strength of trust will be the bridge across which all may walk to find a loving world. As you accept your role
and allow God’s Plan to effortlessly unfold through you, you have become the world’s witness that love through
forgiveness answers every need. If, as you consider these things that I suggest you are tempted to doubt
your resolve, then in that moment use my strength of trust in you. Let me be the bridge to your place of trust, as I
ask you to do for others. Accept my assurance as though it were your own, for such is the bond we share. There
is no point where I begin and where you end. Only in the ego’s world can distinction be made between us.
Do not dwell on how difficult this may seem or how long you can hold to your resolve. Join me but
for a moment and let that be enough. Then join me for another moment when you can, and another after that. See
each one complete unto itself and you will have no fear of loss. Resolve to be the Voice for God for
that is what you are. Decide that you can give the world all that this implies for only in the giving of it will you
recognize that it is yours. Only as you are witness that everyone is loved can you accept God’s promise
of what you are. Join with me now that together we are the vision that answers and heals the world’s
need for separateness. Join with me that together all consciousness may now find and share the peace and strength that
is in our Oneness and remember at last what it means to Love."
