Welcome!

Sit right down with me for a good Cuppa Light! A Cuppa Light is Java for your whole being! Most of us begin our day with some morning rituals including grabbing a cuppa something to get our physical bodies going. I wanted inspiration for my spirit and mind as well. I found that if I sincerely needed uplifting moments, they would come.
They came in dreams, something I’d observe, emails people sent, or things they would say. I’d read a book, and there was a quotation or passage that lifted or helped me know the right thing to do. I learned how to recognize, and work with the different parts of myself, and how to help others do it as well. I created this website as an inspirational place, A Cuppa Light for your whole being. If you're in a hurry just read the blog below or click on "A Little Cuppa". Maybe one will be just right for you!  Invite your friends to come recharge with a good cuppa light.
Add your flavor to the Cuppa via the guestbook below. Share something that inspires you, and write about it in the guestbook. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Enjoy!

We are soliciting 1,000 cranes to be made and brought to the event. A Japanese story states that when 1,000 cranes are made by a person, a crane will grant one wish. Our collective wish is peace for our world. The cranes will be distributed to attendees to take to their homes, friends, workplaces or places needing peace.

As of yesterday we already have the cranes made! People do want peace.

Plans for Peace Day on September 21st are Shaping up

I don’t know what you’ll be doing in your communities for the International Day of Peace, but I hope you love it! I’m hoping that our collective world group mind will truly help make peace for our world. Peace would mean that people would feel safe about taking walks in neighborhoods anywhere. Their stomachs would be full, and if they needed medical care they could get it.

People would feel cherished by their families, and know that they matter. If a person was out of line, or if a conflict came up, people would have the skills so that everyone would get their needs met with respect. We’d know our place in our world was that of taking care of Earth, so that she could take care of us. Animals, children and others with no voice to protect themselves would be kindly cared for.

Last Monday the Mayor made a proclamation that September 21st would be declared peace day on Kauai. On September 16th the County Council will make their proclamation. The origami papers have been distributed for our seniors to make the paper cranes. The Hongwanjis will be notified, and I’m distributing more papers this afternoon. We will most likely have 1,000 that we can bless and send flying throughout the island. People are also confirming to teach the mini-classes for peace. I’ll get the final line-up by tomorrow. It will be my Labor of Love on Labor Day!

Peace and joy and harmony and love and light and belly laughs and dancing and abundance and health to you all!
